Request a Research Appointment

Individual library users who have already begun their research, but need in-depth help from a librarian, may request a research appointment. If you need immediate assistance or need help getting started with research, please visit the Reference Desk or use the online Chat with a Librarian service. Research appointments are intended primarily for CSULB students, faculty, and staff.  

The following guidelines apply:

We will try to accommodate your appointment within 2 - 4 days during the weekday hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The submitted request will be sent directly to the librarian responsible for your discipline.  The fields on the request form marked with ** are required.

IMPORTANT NOTE
When you click on "SUBMIT REQUEST", this form is emailed directly to the librarian responsible for the department for your class and you will receive an email note acknowledging that your REQUEST was submitted.
A confirmation from the librarian indicating the date, time and location will be your notification that the appointment you requested is actually scheduled.
